Coolant circuit secured: drives for pumps

Cooling circuits cannot do without pumps. In quick-charge stations for elec­tro­mo­bility, for example, they are respon­sible for supplying the cooling for the plugs and charging cables and are also used for server cooling in data centers. Pumps with different oper­ating prin­ci­ples are used depending on the area of appli­ca­tion, but they have one crucial thing in common: they need high-perfor­­mance elec­tric motors capable of driving them reli­ably and tailored to the rele­vant appli­ca­tion require­ments.»

EtherCAT (Ethernet for Control Automa­tion Tech­nology) offers every­thing modern automa­tion requires and combines this with the simplicity of tradi­tional fieldbus systems. KINFIT: Achieving Green Cooling Towers with EC Tech­nology

Cooling towers, recog­nized as crucial cooling devices, find wide­spread use in indus­trial parks, urban complexes, and city centers. Sound­check for heat­pumps: Psychoa­coustics for minimum noise gener­a­tion

Air/water heat­pumps with heat outputs from 3 to 30 kW enjoy a high level of accep­tance in heating tech­nology. However, they do not work completely silently and the more dense the build­ings are, the more the neigh­bors can get disturbed by noise pollu­tion. It is by no means just the measur­able sound pres­sure level that is crucial, but human noise percep­tion, which is where psychoa­coustics and its exam­i­na­tion methods come into play.»
