Dr. Stephan Arnold

CTO

Born in 1963 After completing his training as an engineering assistant, he studied electrical engineering at the Rheinische-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) in Aachen, focusing in particular on technical information technology. Then, he completed his doctorate in welding technology automation.

From 1994, he held various management positions at the Volkswagen Group in Germany and the U.S.

In 2010, he moved to Miele & Cie. KG, working as the Head of Washing Machines and Dryer Development. From 2012, he also became Head of Group Development.

In 2016, he was employed as the Technology Director (CTO) at Schuler AG.

Since July 2018, he has been Managing Director of Research and Development / Purchasing at the ebm-papst Group.
